Health: is the level of functional or metabolic efficiency of a living organism. Also is a positive state of well being, where every past of body and mind is in harmony.
Hygiene refers to conditions and practices that help to maintain health and prevent the spread of diseases.

  • Cross-contamination
Solution

Project 3: Design a campaign to raise awareness on the importance of protecting the environment.

Deforestation
Is the permanent destruction of forest in order to make the land available for other uses.
Deforestation occurs around the world, though tropical rainforests are particularly targeted. Countries with significant deforestation include Brazil, Indonesia, Thailand. The country with the most deforestation is Indonesia.
Loss of species
Seventy percent of the world´s plants and animals live in forests and are losing their habitats to deforestation, according to National  Geographic. They lose their habitat and forced to move to new location. Some of them are even pushed to extinction. Our world has lost so many species of plants and animals in last couple of decades.

Solutions to Deforestation
1. curb the felling of trees, by employing a series of rules and laws to govern it.
2. Clear cutting of forests must be banned.
3. cutting must  be replaced by  planting young trees to replace the older ones that were cut.
Good personal hygiene is one of the most effective ways to protect orselves and others.

Causes of deforestation:
- agricultural activities
- logging
- urbanization
- desertification of land
- mining
- fires

Effects
- climate imbalance
- increase in global warming
- soil erosion
- wildlife extinction
